Leading snacks company Kellanova has opened its new corporate headquarters in Chicago following its separation from cereal giant WK Kellogg Co., further bolstering Illinois’ position as a leader in U.S. food manufacturing and innovation.
Formerly known as Kellogg Co., Kellanova makes some of the most famous snacks in America, including Pringles, Cheez-It crackers, Pop-Tarts, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats, Nutri-Grain bars and Eggo frozen waffles. The new Chicago base means the Fortune 500 company will benefit from the state’s numerous advantages and thriving food innovation ecosystem.
Food producers in Illinois enjoy close proximity to agriculture, other food producers, a robust supply chain, and suppliers like packaging manufacturers.
